of Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Business and Law

1. General

1.1. This regulation is designed on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education," National Education Development Doctrine Ukraine in the XXI century, the Regulation on state educational establishment and regulating the activities of the educational-methodical council of Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Business and Law (hereinafter - KCIBL) .

1.2. Teaching Council (hereinafter - NMR) created under administration and an advisory collegial body that manages educational and methodological activities of the Institute.

13. NMR is a part-time body, its members work on a voluntary basis.

1.4. In its activities NMR governed by the laws of Ukraine, regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, local acts of the Kiev regional union of consumer cooperatives, orders and instructions of the rector, academic council decisions and administration.

2. Purpose and activities the educational-methodical council

2.1. The main goal of EMC is the organization, coordination and control of teaching work in colleges and institutes aimed at improving the quality of educational process, formation of high-end professionals in line with European educational standards.

2.2. EMC main activities are:

• Selecting methodological strategy of the institute in the context of entering higher educational institutions of Ukraine into the European educational space;

• participation in the development of higher education KCIBL as part of the higher education system of our country;

• management of current teaching work in colleges and the institute and monitoring compliance with its performance standards of higher education and accreditation requirements;

• to improve management of the organization and methods of teaching and implementing educational process among students;

• coordinating dissemination and exchange of best practices methodical work at the institute, development of foreign relations with other educational institutions, institutions, promoting the professional level of teachers.

3. The task of EMC

The main task of EMC in planning and coordinating teaching work at the institute, its control of the state in educational units, developing practical recommendations and suggestions to improve the educational process and its methodologies.

Based on the activities of the EMC, it the following tasks:

3.1. Defining the strategic directions of methodical work at the Institute;

3.2. The general management of teaching work in KCIBL;

3.3. Guidance improving the educational process in the institute according to the requirements of the Bologna process, the introduction of credit transfer systems and quality evaluation of student learning (ECTS);

3.4. The introduction in the curriculum of public sector higher education and educational standards KKIBP, monitoring their requirements;

3.5. Participation in the drafting of curricula, curricula for each academic year and their scientific and methodical examination;

3.6. Monitoring of methodology of the educational process in colleges and institutes to develop recommendations for improving its content;

3.7. Preparation of the administration to consider proposals on fundamental issues of technical work, the creation of this permanent and temporary committees, expert groups, sections, attracting some employees of the Institute, experts from other institutions, experienced practitioners;

3.8. Hearing information heads of departments, offices, educational-methodical department on the effectiveness of methodical work in divisions and departments;

3.9. Analysis of the quality of training at the stage of release;

3.10. Participation in the development of research-based teaching methods and knowledge control subjects, using innovative technologies and technical training;

3.11. The study, synthesis and dissemination of best practices methodology of structural divisions of the Institute, departments of other universities of Kyiv and Ukraine, organizing events for the exchange of experience between departments and offices KCIBL;

3.12. Recommendation of print publications (teaching, teaching development) of the common problems of methodology and organization of educational process;

3.13. Participation in the development, improvement, examination and approval of accounting reporting forms and training documents;

3.14. Draft proposals for improving the organization of training of teachers, increase their pedagogical skills;

3.15. Recommendations regarding the organization of work of the faculty Institute (setting norms workload, methodical, educational work, etc.);

3.16. Submission guidelines on the organization and opening new departments of basic training areas and specialties;

3.17. Presentation of the Rector of recommendations to promote teaching and teaching staff for outstanding achievements in teaching work;

3.18. Participation in the organization of scientific-methodical conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, competitions and reviews of teaching materials;

3.19. KCIBL coordinating cooperation with educational institutions and abroad.

4. Structure and organization of the educational-methodical council

4.1. The structure of EMC consists (Annex 2).

4.2. EMC staff approved by the Rector of the Institute.

4.3. Personal structure of the Council is reviewed annually. Corresponding changes are the order of rector at the suggestion Chairman EMC.

4.4. The work of subordinate EMC rector and vice-rector of the Institute of educational work.

4.5. The Council meets at least twice per semester. The decisions taken at its meetings, recorded protocols. Secretary of  EMC leads protocols.

4.6. Secretary of EMC elected by members from the open voting majority.

4.7. Ongoing work between meetings by the Chairman EMC and its secretary.

4.8. EMC Decisions taken by open vote. The decision requires that at the meeting of Council was attended by at least ² / 3 of the total composition EMC and members voted at least half of the audience members.

4.9. On EMC meeting and its agenda shall notify the council members not later than two days before the meeting.

4.10. Solution EMC is mandatory for all subdivisions of the institute, officials and teachers.

4.11. Council directs and coordinates the work of departments of the institute.

4.12. Organizational, material and technical assistance EMC provide training department, library, administrative and economic part, the personnel department and other departments of the institute.

4.13. The organizational and functional structure EMC served in the annex.

5. The rights and duties of the educational-methodical council

5.1. EMC Members are entitled to:

• check the teaching work units institute, college;

• immediately obtain the necessary documentation and information from departments, departments and other units of teachers;

• Contribute to EMC discussed issues aimed at improving the quality of educational and methodical council;

• attending classes and college instructors without prior notice.

5.2. EMC Members shall:

• prepare materials in advance of the meeting EMC and provide head no later than three working days before the meeting;

• EMC attend meetings, participate in the development of materials and discussed the agenda;

• provide proposals for improving the methodological work at the institute and college;

• run Head errands in due time.

6. Planning of members EMC

6.1. The volume of work in the EMC indicates its members in "organizational and methodical work" individual plans of teachers.

6.2. Time spent on EMC members work in the Council determined according pp.26, 27 "standard time for planning and accounting pedagogical and educational work of teaching staff of higher educational institutions" (Order of MES of Ukraine №450 from 07.08.2002.) And calculated as follows:

• Chairman EMC - 100 hours per academic year;

• Secretary EMC - 50 hours of workload;

7. Order approving the Regulation

7.1. This Regulation shall enter into force upon signature and approval of the EMC chairman rector of the institute.

7.2. Amendments to the Regulations made by the order of rector after approval by the administration.
