WEEK OF HISTORICAL MEMORY «UKRAINE UNITES!»

From January 27 to 30, 2020 for students of I-II courses of KCIBL the Week of Historical Memory was organized and conducted by teachers-historians of the department of social and humanities sciences Pronevich T.M., Pushnyak О.A., Rudenko Y.M.
Such memorable events were celebrated in Ukraine in January: Day of the defenders of the Donetsk airport - cyborg heroes, Ukraine Unity Day, adoption by the Ukrainian Central Council of the Fourth Universal and declaration of Ukrainian independence, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Day of approval of the State Flag of Ukraine, Remembrance Day of Kruty Heroes. Lectures, watching videos of significant dates, thematic book exhibitions, discussions on the preservation of historical memory, and participation in city events were held for students.
So, for students of 11 TK, TMK, 11 EC groups held a historical almanac United Mother Ukraine is one for all, as a talisman.It deals with the proclamation in 1919 of the Act of Union of the Ukrainian National Republic and the Western Ukrainian National Republic.
During lectures on world history, teachers and students paid tribute to the victims of the Holocaust with a moment of silence and recalled the terrible crimes of Nazism in the Auschwitz concentration camp (Poland).
Students of 11 PCs, 11 HC, 11 GRK, 21 PCs, 21 KIK groups took part in events dedicated to the Kruty Heroes and the defenders of the Donetsk airport Remember Kruty. Cyborgs of the twentieth century. After watching the movie Kruty. Young blood was conducted flash mob On Askold's grave...
We believe that historical memory makes students possible to realize their role as a protagonist of history, teaches us to predict the future, to feel like a part of the great Ukrainian people and to feel confident in the modern world.
