History of Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Business and Law

January 1920. It was opened Ukrainian Cooperative Institute of Professor Mykhailo Ivanovych Tuhan-Baranovskyi.

February 1921. Ukrainian Cooperative Institute attached to Kyiv Institute of National Economy on the rights of certain food and cooperative faculty.

1922. Food and cooperative faculty separated from Kyiv National Economic and founded an independent university - Kyiv Cooperative Higher Technical College.

January 1927. Kyiv Higher Cooperative Technical College converted to Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Vlas Chubar.

In autumn 1930. As a result of the reorganization of Kyiv Cooperative Institute separated several higher education institutions, research and educational institutions.

1935-1945. The political and economic situation in the country had a negative impact on the situation of consumer cooperatives. It was suspended the development of cooperative education.

1946. A Republican Educational Complex, which was preparing highly qualified people for Consumer Cooperatives in Ukraine.

1956. A regional educational complex to prepare cooperative staff.

1964. It was organized Kyiv cooperative technical college and methodological Republican complex in Patrice Lumumba Street.

1967. The five-storied hostel was opened.

1977. Kyiv cooperative technical college began its work in the new eight-storied building in Lomonosova Street.

1981. Kyiv cooperative technical college took the first place in the copmpetition among other cooperative technical colleges.

1982. Kyiv cooperative technical college became the winner of the methodical work.

31 March, 1997. Kyiv cooperative technical college was renamed Kyiv Cooperative College of Economic and Law.

12 June, 1999. The technical college acquired the status of college and a new name Kyiv cooperative economic and law college.

29 December, 2009. Kyiv cooperative economic and law college reorganized Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Business and Law.

22 October, 2010. Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine included Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Business and Law in the State Register of higher education in Ukraine.
